Elsewhere in South America

The PAGC isn't the only FAI sanctioned competition taking place in South America. And we aren't the only ones representing USA.

Tom Kelley is entered in the FAI Sailplane Grand Prix Final, having qualified in last year's USA Grand Prix in Florida.  The Final is being held in Santiago, Chile, at the gliding club that is actually on the outskirts of a metropolitan area with a population of five million people.
